This little song was inspired by my first major travels. Having travelled around many major sites around Europe and Scandinavia, my travel companion's brother got a teaching post in Japan. This was the spur and opportunity to travel further afield to South East Asia and the US.

Musically, the rhythmic count is, unusually, in eleven, the figure continuing above different base notes which imply the underlying harmonic progression. Demure Geishas perform the delicate Tea Ceremony – more water, water of life.
